    She's A Keeper

I hooked with my smile and a picture of my fish
You saw a suntanned boy with his fishing pole and just a simple wish
Just a click away on your website
You took the chance and wondered if I'd bite
You had the right bait green eyes beautiful smile
    I couldn't resist a catch like this
On the river, in the creek I turn around and kiss you cheek
Turn around and make a cast
Yeah I know this love will last

We got crankbait, spinnerbait, buzzbait too
Out behind the shed diggin worms with you
All day long just a gettin wet
Hurry up and get the net
    Cause she's a keeper, yeah she's a keeper

Careful baby don't tip the boat
Knowing that my heart won't float
Just reel me in, we'll start again
Let's get real close in the pale moonlight
And kill some time till the fishes bite
Just cuddle here with an ice cold beer
Honey where'd your bobber go just set the hook and reel in slow
Hold on girl don't let me go

Cause we got crankbait, spinnerbait, buzzbait too
Out behind the shed diggin worms with you
All day long just a gettin wet
Hurry up and get that net
    She's a keeper, yeah that's my keeper

Just sit right back and let the water flow
Following natures course is where we'll go
    Out here enjoying God's creations
Honey just let go of all your reservations
There's a deep hole up on the right
With not a single sole in sight
    So let's just jump ship
    And take a skinny dip
We'll take our time and just unwind

Cause we got crankbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits too
Out behind the shed diggin worms with you
All day long just a gettin wet
Hurry up and get that net
    Cause she's a keeper, yeah she's a keeper
With just one look she had me hooked
    She sure is a keeper

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
