    shiver / shake

    bend
    sway
    shiver
    shake

    root to limb
    limb to branch
    branch to leaf
    then back
    sunlight to sustenance

    watch them disassemble
    bent or broken
    severed lifelines
    not bleeding
    no show of life leaving
    nobody knowing
if they will die standing still
    for years to come

    leaves pile haphazard
    unaware
    of their endless ramble
    dessicated remnants
    of past lives
    trampled underfoot
which will not see a new day
    but will be replaced
    a memory
    barely revealed

Hello, I actually really liked this and thought i was good, poetry and song writing are very similar and the express emotions with a feeling of imagery

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
