    Shooting Star

    Rise with the sun!
    Glorious and full of the heat of days.

    Gravity it seems wants to control your orbit.
    But you are a comet
    Shooting steadily across the galaxies.

    You're no stationary planetary body!

    You are a celestial traveller,
    A constellation of delight and spectacle

    Burning your own path
    Dancing with the moon
    Rising with the sun

    Glorious and full of the heat of days.

    And all of your tomorrows
    Will be hard won.

    For you live for the fight:
    It makes you burn brighter, 
    Makes you reach farther --

    And no hating-gravity will steer your course,
    Because you are a fiery star
    Lighting up vast space!

    And no one who sees you
    Can remain unmoved.

    beautiful...love the imagery that this creates for me...as i read it..i see the melting fire of the comet...blazing thru the sky...love it!;-)
