    Poem Commentary

In all my Years of dancing, never has holding someone's hand meant so much to me or effected my Heart in such a manner. The high light of my night is getting to hold her hand for the legth of a song and is what I look forward to the most in the night. Innocent and silent affection. Somes times I wonder if ever she feels the same way when we dance.

    Silent Hand

He saw her from across the floor

    She was Beautiful

His Heart skipped a Beat at first sight

    Not because of her looks

But for the look she gave him

    The highlight of his night

Was getting to hold her hand

    As they danced

Could she feel his Heart through his hand

This was all they could be

    A Dance

    For she was another’s

    But all he cared about

    Was where her Heart was

    Could it ever Love him

This is all he can have of her

    A hand

    A dance

But it means more to him

    Than she’s know

The saddest part of his night

    Is when the song ends

    And their dance is over

    -Fin-

Parting ways after such a deep Dance, missing her in whats left of the night till sleep takes your Heart away, drifting softly into Dream Land where you hope to find her again.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
