    Poem Commentary

Just let your imagination run.........you are allowed!!!!!!!!!

    SILHOUETTE

As I wait for you, the moon slowly casts its faint light in my direction,

Footsteps announce your arrival; my head turns to place your silhouette in my vision,

We are about to brighten this dark night with the hot fire of our passion,

And each step you take towards me makes every part of me come alive with tension.

I feel the warm touch of your hand sweeping aside my hair as you bend to kiss my neck,

I softly exhale a low sweet sigh knowing so well what you are going to do next,

Your hands capture my mound peaks, working heat waves through me in loving caress,

My eyes go dreamy when I feel the hardness of your body on me as you gently press.

Letting go of all control, my body turns and I taste your sweet warm kiss on my lips,

It’s good we’re naked, your strong arms lift me and I wrap my legs around your hips.

The bed gladly welcomes us with the scattered soft petals and smell of Lavender,

Tonight is the night, yes it is, for none of us will retreat and no one will surrender.

I’ve spread myself shamelessly, so anxious and waiting for your re- introduction,

Ignited by your fire, am set ablaze with intense desire and heated sensation.

I respond with melodious sighs as our slow dance began with you taking the lead,

Like the rhythm of the rumba, your hands and lips promise to fulfil my bodily need.

Our tempo’s increasing, my pitch’s getting higher, the movement of my hips can’t lie,

You are the only one who makes me feel this good and nice like sweet apple-pie.

Temperatures rising, my face is moist with your deep wet kisses and beads of sweat,

Aching for more of this love, I helplessly cling to you, I can’t let go, No, I won’t let……

We rise in sweet highs and fall to deep depths like the clapping waves of a happy ocean,

Looking into each other’s eyes, our hearts in sync, we begin to set off for the Marathon,

Our bodies, clamped together in rhythm, races in want to reach that beautiful height,

Our spirits, as one, soar higher and higher till it climbs the night sky in perfect flight.

To the awesome beauty of tonight’s passion, my left eye bleeds to shed a joyful tear,

And your cute lips catch and taste it as you whispered “I love you” in my left ear.

Holding on to this moment, Time stood still as our spirits journey back into its vessels,

No one retreated nor surrendered tonight, we both met our match in this love tussle.

In a cuddled state of rest, you talk me to sleep and I wake up alone the morning after,

I will reminisce on the music we made as I wait again to see your silhouette later.

    Thanks..........for letting your imagination run!!!!!!!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
