Poem Commentary

Actually this poem was written May 22, 2008 long before my mothers passing. But never shared it until now.

Silvery white ashes blowing high in the sky.

Scattered

yet not forgotten

floating upon the wings

of wind in our mind.

Oh this one really touched me beyond repair right now. I think these few lines are more memorable then a fifty word poem. I not only love it but its in my fav's and is where it will stay. Sad but reality of death does crash someone to their knees with sorrow of missing them. This line Paint is overcoming with touching words. scattered yet not forgotten. All I can say is I love it! A perfect ten from me and thank you for the memory you instilled in me today of my mother. Hugz

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
