Since We Met

Since we have met,
My heart is a flutter,
I hear voices in my head,
That don't even stutter.

They tell me watch out,
And please be careful,
But you touch my heart,
So I'm no longer fearful.

When we are together,
I feel stronger than steel,
On the bridges we cross,
This love feels so real.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
