sing, memorabilia, sing

my fondest memories are of those
spent by your side.
perched like nightingales
upon the scrolls of my mind;
awaiting recitation.............
     ................on cue now.

I like this one Tyke, It is both concise and visual. I especially like "upon the scrolls of my mind; awaiting recitation............. ................on cue now" It says a lot in a few words. Another Good Job!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
