    Sins of My Heart

     What I have sworn to never do,
    this is what I've done.
    I allowed my sense to stray away
    Eternal hell now finds me.
    unspoken bond and pledged feeling
    broken now and washed away
    In potent spirits decieving embrace
    My song is now failing
    For my soul now lies crippled
    Truly ruining is this break with love
    And now that love is forlorn,
    All hope is gone
    For without words, who am I?

    Good strong use of 'who am I" at the end. brings a lot of power to the poem.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
