Sky, Put On Your Suit Of Navy Blue

Sky, Put On Your Suit Of Navy Blue

sky, put on your suit of navy blue

wear it in the dark

ask the moon to shine for you

invite the stars to play a part

have a conversation with silence

over a vegetarian dinner and sea flavored wine

accept a dance with silence

and move to the rhythm of time

allow the wind to blow you

as you step across sea and land

let freedom show you life

as it escorts you by the hand

thank you! i appreciate you taking the time to read my writing and appreciate even more that you enjoyed it.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
