    Slip Away

Have you ever felt like dying?
Just to liberate yourself from this tragic nightmare
A world full of sorrow and pain
    Death and despair
    This residence we call “home”
    Is there no better place?
A place where I don’t have to hide
    Where I can be me
    And no one else
A place where I’m no longer judged by the likes of the ignorant
Free to live in peace and harmony
To smile a genuine smile once again
A place where you can hold me in your arms
    Not for protection
    But because you want to
A simple dream and nothing more
I yearn to see it yet another time
But as I try it continues to slip away

I like it. I don't love it that much, because I think something was missing in the poem.
