SLIP AWAY

Your lettin us slip away...

With every sun set, which each time that gets swept

And every promise made but wasn't able to be kept.

I wept when you chose to spend time with them nasty hoes

Who are not really your friend, From beginning to end

Hate was on their plate and they just couldn't wait

Till you took the red pill and flushed our heaven away....

I fight and ask you to stay but you push me out of the way,

Quick fast into Benz cause you know it wont last

But you give him your prize anyway.

Share your thighs with any given Sunday hoping that pay day

Will spread your way but I know " MAY DAY- MAY-DAY"

Is on the way.. He will never let you stay.

You let us slip away.

I had to relearn how to walk alone, learn how to let it burn

And even though I yearn your soft skin and how when you talk baby talk

And walk in high heels.... And your so fine I used to get chills,

But right now this new reality kills

what we could have had...

Saw you in the mall looking mad

Cause of new shinny dime that has my new time and even tho its sad

I'm glad I walk up right, Glad I got over out late night flight

to what's now never ever land...

I clutch her hand and get my pimp stroll on,

yeah you broke me but now I'm back on

Top and I wont drop and I mop the rest of the haters to the side.

Cold outside my ride, you stand in the street as I ride

Off into the new sunset and I bet you have yet come to realize

It was more than thighs and pumps and your lady lumps

That had me in love with you... No no

It was only two

Things that bonded me to you...

Our hearts beating as one and the fact you had my sun

My moon and my heart in tune to you.

But you let flashy cars and hating tricks in bars

Change our stars and now we so far away

Mars looks closer then our love

That slipped away...
