Snow Angel

She howled a chill into the room as she spins on her pivot creating a full circle like Michael Jackson reborn. He must have imagined her for as he blinked his overgrown female like lashes she disappeared. The gray faced snow angel in the white gown no longer stood before him. But he still felt her presence. She had to be real. His body still shivered from her time captivating breath that caught him still in his tracts. He needed her to be real. He yelled in the lonesome basement like the Looney everyone already figured him to be. "I need you, I do not fear you, I need you..." He paused in grieving tension of a queue hoping she would reply but he heard nothing. He broke down into tears," she's not real!" With that phrase it was confirmed, he was finally convinced that he was crazy. He threw himself down to his bed of sheets and rested his terror mind on his two dirty, lapping pillows that took refuge inside one of his white tee-shirts. Just as he was crying himself to sleep, right before his lashes met to seal in a nightmare of insanity, a chill fell upon him. It hugged his body and rocked him to sleep, into a sweet, sweet dream of a sane man who fell in love with something beyond natural.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
