Solitude
The rain beatsupon the pools of solemn hopes.
I look through stagnant air
and feel my sanity slipping.
The overwhelming urge to be free.
To pulsate with the rain
and it's steady rhythmic flow.
To emanate thine earthly mother.
What pleasure the dream brings,
and what disparity reality forces.
Everything seems so foggy,
how I yearn for lucidity.
My soul is caged,
trapped from the truth.
Shackles bind my eternal triumph.
Weights crush all my resistance.
Only one thought is addressed:
No one
can hear
what you say
in solitude.
