    Poem Commentary

    1st attempt at songwriting it's not that great I know

    Something To Do With Love

    You look into my love lost eyes
    And I know you can see my pain
    I'm done with crying
    It's locked away and killing me from the inside
    From the moment we met
    There was something new
    Something differant
    Something that made me think about life in an amazing way

    But then that something faded
    It became less and less
    You had him
    I had her

    Yet we were both scared
    The hatred we felt
    The lies we believed
    The truths that we refused to accept
    Crazy in love with someone who wasn't feeling the same
    We were something that wasn't happy
    Something that wasn't sad
    We felt pain and joy
    And that something was great

    But then that something faded
    It became less and less
    You had him
    I was losing her

    We were cutting
    You were lying
    I was trying to live
    We don't know what to do
    You were living your life
    I was stuck singing my empty songs

    In my head I heard my life as a song
    A melody that meant nothing
    A harmony that didn't fit together
    A beat out of time
    A voice that I hated
    I had lost her

    You were there for me
    The something I needed
    The something to get my through
    The something that made me smile and believe

    Then that something faded
    It became less and less
    You had a new him
    I was still alone
    As I've always been
