but first I need you to promise me you'll stay and won't go,
I really don't know how you'll react to this news,
so when it's all said, try to imagine yourself in my shoes,
i've been debating for a while should i tell you or not,
my heart says yes, but my mind says wait, cause i don't want to put you on the spot,
i've been wondering how to, and when and where would be best,
should I be straightfoward, beat around the bush, or just say what's on my chest,
sometimes when i'm with you, I feel i should say something then,
but at the last minute I stop myself and just look at you and grin,
I wish you already knew about this secret that's toying with my heart,
this could either bring us together or rip our world apart,
everyday I sit back and dream of when this day will come,
if only I could tell you now, and hope you'd understand where it is i'm coming from,
each minute my anticipation is building stronger and stronger,
I can see myself just blurting it all out, cause I can't keep it in any longer,
