    Song Without Words

     

    The words keep me awake with their

    constant begging to be written down.

    I must give in or suffer with their

    annoying repetition. Torture.

    Restless at night.

    Rhyming the wrong words.

    Plural syllables.

    Twin, mutation.

    Unique experience in the fact I'm not a copy.

    Ink absorbing sickness.

    I hear in my mind all these words and its impossible to write them

    all down on the paper that tears easily.

    The lost ones disappear.

    Unknown to you as they are to me.

    Gone forever.

    I feel guilty for my disease.

    (Ink absorbing sickness.) - Perhaps why the ink is always dark. I like that line. Interesting how you "wrote" about the complications of finding the words. Like a hidden double meaning. Sometimes, to me, it feels as if poetry is the attempt to do what will never fully be completed. Poetry being a planet so to speak, the actual feeling being like a universe. Impressive as always with your brevity.
