Sorry

Sorry

I never said I’m sorry.
For all the things I’d done.
I never stopped and thought about,
If you were having fun.
I never asked if I hurt you.
I really didn’t care.
Repairing my self was hard enough,
For your grief I could not bare.
I neglected to see your side too.
Tunnel vision had me down.
I could only see my self,
I never saw you frown.
I didn’t stop and take a look,
Nor could I even listen.
But now I see my tears falling,
Down my cheeks, as they glisten.
And here is to tomorrow,
May we learn a lesson from this all.
So sorry may now come too late,
But at least it came at all..

This is a very nice realization of the importance of "others". Lessons of the past errors must give way to a new light in life. To be sorry does not mean that you are weak, but a display of courage to admit that you are wrong. This is a very nice write. Keep it up! Cheers!

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
