Speak

Speak

Let silent cries ascend,
speak up, break the chain.
While others try to pretend,
that tears can dry in the pourin' rain.
While fingers cover lips,
to hush what voices remain.
Speak or prepare for a future eclipse,
of all once thought humane.

Hey this would be a good poster, I admire it, and the message.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
