We "fall in love".
Step two
You leave for college.
Step three
We keep in touch (?)
Oh yeah, I meant to ask...
Has that been changed?
Because I don't remember a step in between
(Step 2.5)
Never speak again.
Don't call, text, or email.
Leave all the questions unanswered
If you possibly can (the more mystery the better).
Don't respond to any of my attempts, either.
Did I just miss the memo;
If I did, I'm sorry for bothering you.
All I need is a heads up
Some guidelines to follow like
"Stay the hell away from me." or
"I never want to speak to you again."
