Stagnate
People Stare within me looking for the answers to their life,
Sometimes this is not what they want
And it leads them to their own hurt and strife.
Don’t look back,
Slipping slowly through the crack.
Falling inside the deep well,
Stagnate water so stale.
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
