    Stand Alone

I stand alone in a space within
Inside the wounds and pain of sin
Wanting to wash the corrosion away
And start a new beginning on this day

Happiness is out there for me to see
Out there is where I need to be
A heart can be broken and left to mend
And piece by piece the puzzle begins

As the pieces of the puzzle start to heal
The wounds are washed with a feeling of zeal
I stand alone in a space within
Without the wounds and pain of sin
