    stand
    broken lonely life
    all my tears locked deep inside
    left me cold and numb

    with no one to care
    shattered dreams turned to despair
    fit my mask in place

    wear the smiling thing
    when looking in the mirror
    blinded to myself

    point of no return
    desperately I cried out
    you were listening

    all of this to say
    I changed in a single day
    all because of you

    all that you have said
    went right past my stubborn head
    to sing inside my heart

    what tomorrow brings
    I have no way to predict
    but you've helped me STAND

                                           and I thank you.

    wow this poem is deep i like it a lot. I like poems that have emotion in them and this one has a lot of emotion

    Everybody gets knocked down, but not everybody is able to pick themselves back up and stand again to go another round. You have to have heart and determination.... which you obviously do. Great poem
