Star
I try to reach that special star
But it is there and it has bars
For the star has been taken
When I see the star, I wish it to awaken
For it likes me, but loves another
I really don't know why I bother
For I trying to reach that special star
Hurts more and more leaving me a scar
I wrote this poem at age 16. My very first poem. As you can read I had a crush on someone and like all crushes, my heart was crushed.
