Starting over

Starting over is scary, you give up something to someone

You don’t know if they deserve it but you still have to see exactly

What comes from each moment, conversations with fear in each word

Looks that are priceless, taking in the smell the touch the spirit the soul

Hoping you make that person better through whatever time you spend

Hoping they do the same to you

Wishing you could see the future just to make sure it is a happy ending

Dreams hoping they come true doing whatever it takes to help them accomplish them

Just to see them smile a smile you knew could come about because you saw how special they were even if they did not see it for themselves

Your voice cuts through the layers of worries and stress right to the heart

Instantly love comes to my mind you embody the word with your voice it speaks of sincerity

Wishing you could explain the future realizing the world is open to you

Desperate to have that world include me time has no barriers one day is as if 1000 years

Protection becomes a must upset that anyone has ever hurt you before

Vowing to love so hard you forget that pain taking you to a paradise where only we

Live in harmony with each others thoughts perfect with cause loving each imperfection

Realizing it makes you whole

Belief in you and who and who you are without reason don’t even want one learning about you is a blessing in itself making me better each time we talk kiss love each other intimately I learn about the best parts of myself

Your knowledge is precious to me without you I keep walking not knowing if it is right or wrong whatever the world gives me you take off my shoulders with a kiss a simple touch words of encouragement spoken softly building me up telling me there is nothing to fear with you beside me

It is early so I am paralyzed with hope realizing I might have the rest of my life to live with you as my gift designed sculpted made for me I will treasure you for ever

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
