Why do you spread yourself so thin,Why is it with you I never win,
Never first, second or even last,
Like I'm the one who hurt you in the past,
Why do you treat me this way,
What is your mood going to be like today,
You used to treat me so well,
I can see how quickly that went to hell,
You are the reason our relationship went so deep,
Now to you our love is too steep,
My head tells me to run away,
My heart tells me I need to stay,
I don't know what I need to do,
The more I think the more I stew,
So maybe this should be good-bye,
So maybe I can leave with my head held high.
