Stitched
it's complicatedhow i understand the pain
you feel with just this last year
until you graduate it's scary
that i understand why they made you stay
it's upsetting the way you spoke those words
you know I'd understand if you called it quits
but do you know how i felt when you didn't say much
why not just call our relationship off
I'm asking myself why
I'm still holding to hope
that my heart won't get broke
how many times have i had to
stitch my heart
the chain won't hold
the bandage is to old
can't you see it's never
going to heal if i lose you
i don't think god
will let me go on like this
NO! I won't let him
let me go on
like this how many more
times will i have to stitch
my heart up before
i can just
GIVE UP!
