    STORM

    Storm

I’m in the midst of a storm,
Seems to be an endless one.
I sail astray, I am doomed that way.

    II

    Can’t find my port,
    Your body escapes me,
I am lost in a sea of sorrow,
    Come back! Come find me,
For my port is you, I crave to love you.

    III

    The wind which flattened me
Blows strong, tearing me away from you
If I can’t find you, please come to my rescue.

    IV

In the midst of the storm, desperate,
I call your name. If you don’t hear me,
I will drown. I need your love to port.

This poem reminds me of my own poem called lost inspiration, and I know completely what it is like to be in the dark. It can drive one crazy, but always remember that wherever there is dark there also is light. It might not be right in front of us, but it is definitely around the corner; so the time to port is always at hand. thanks for that write poet it is a good thing.

Good morning dear and thanks for your comment. Yes, I completely agree with what you wroght here, this is the way I think and this is the way I see things. Thanks once again and be blessed. Mauro

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
