    Stranger Angel

     It was a warm day
    We went out to play
    Found a pond of water
    I said lets don’t bother

    Complete decision makers
    Certainly not law breakers
    We were all at age six
    Looking to have some kicks

    Wandered back to the water
    Snuck away from my father
    Fell into the water went under
    On my part major blunder

     Older teenager fishing boy
    Saw me treat pier like a toy
    He watched me fall in
    And pulled me out again

     My angel did appear
    Helped me overcome my fear
    Strangers can mean danger
    But in this case
    My stranger was my angel

     There are angels among us
    Sent down to us from God above
    They save lives everyday
    I wouldn’t be here today if not for my angel
