    Stranger Nowadays

    At times I sit and think from time to time

    Open my heart and see from eye to eye
    Felt your energy rip with fright until it outgrew me 
    As I saw it I saw the blood it was to drip right through me
    Can't you see that you knew all along
    That you'd turn your back saying
    Stay strong
    Don't mutter to me
    Your words no longer fuel me
    The actions beyond your words
    Are reasons enough for me
    Walked away from me
    Little did I realise
    The favour you did me
    Little too healthy and wise 
    Take me to the ocean
    As I swim beyond too sea
    Found myself yrs later
    Floating in a lake
    Feeling like ghia 
    Peace is all I take
    And your peace
    Well it shatters and it breaks
    Take me away
    To a love that don't decay 
    Keep me safe and 
    Say it's all okay!
