    Candy coated popcorn,

    sugar coated dreams...

    sweet little sprinkles,

    on butterfy wings...

    Swirls of cotton candy,

    swirling in dreams...

    so sweet and tasty,

    sugar coated dreams...

    Dancing clowns,

    dancing all around...

    some with a smile,

    some with a frown...

    The circus goes round,

    from town to town...

    ...pillow to pillow,

    frown to frown...

    So many faces,

    lost in dreams...

    living in places...

    hiding behind dreams,

    lost in fantasy...

    hiding like a clown...

    Candy coated popcorn,

    sugar coated dreams...

    ice cream in a cone,

    melting in the moonlight,

    dripping from a chin...

    such a sweet delight...

    Little sugar sprinkles,

    on butterfly wings...

    Swirls of cotton candy,

    swirling in dreams...

    such a sweet feeling,

    when lost in sleep,

    when lost in dreams,

    when lost in...

    sugar coated dreams

    what a vivid and beautifully written poem, if we all aspired to dream as you have in this poem , the world would be a better place.

    This came about watching my sons playing video games. One of the characters on "Little Big Planet" had wings that looked like sugar cookies with sprinkles...Aint it strange how simple little things can touch your feelings in special ways...
