    Summoning Spring

The week begins in a matter of minutes

And I have a giant lump in my chest

I spend the weekend kissing pretty girls

And this is consequence at its best

I’m on the verge of something new

    And I’m hesitant as hell

I fear for my life that I’ll fuck up

But hey, I might as well

‘Cause I’m so done with dormancy

    And desire’s just under skin

It’s quite a task, too much to ask

To let this enormous feeling in

    I tingle with excitement

    My worrywort is gone

    My lips saltier than sea

    Reckon spring is coming on

You are way too talented! I love this! Not a typical teen, but I'm glad to see you're living. ;D Have a good spring. ^.^

I so enjoy your latest installments in which you take your raging hormones in hand and manipulate them to fruition. There is nothing greater than being in love with love.

I love the last verse it really speaks out loud, This poem really esxpresses alot but so do all your writes my friend, you got a gift and know how to put words to the page.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
