Poem Commentary

Fear not the loss of illusion seek not permanence Emrace the moment tis truely all we have An observation from an omnibus one early Sunday. The last two stanzas are superfluous. Adieu.

Sunday mourning

I saw
one look
from a woman's
eyes

that I
shall never
receive
again

to see
some clarity
in this
revelation

then view
the meekness
of my
passage

A very clever capture of the moment as it orbits...However Sir Poet, a great many things may change in the course of a day~or with the change of a bus...:~) Well penned...

"Sir Poet" - I am elevated, elated, honored and humbled by such praise. Especially since I appear to have forgotten how to spell in my comments. Alas, tis my fate. I can no longer chew the gum of which you refer. The coarseness of my day is much refreshed by your kind words. And one had to always have the correct change for the clippy. Is Well a relative of Will-i Am? :)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
