    Sunset

    Slowly you fade
    behind a blanket of softness
    in hush-baby pink.
    Your pillow engulfs your
    round face as your smile gently
    simmers to a peeking smirk.
    I watch you as your eyes
    slowly close at another
    ending and you prepare for
    a nap to rejuvenate you
    for a new beginning.
    You lure me to think of your
    return as you innocently give
    me another sunset.

    Absolutely love this it is beautiful

    To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
