    Sweet Dreams

If I could say anything to her

    As she sleeps

Id gently whisper to her Heart

    Sweet Dreams

The thought of her brings a smile to my Heart

She catches the imagination of my Dreams

    I find myself drifting off

To the thought of holding her hand

    Hearing her sing

How the sound soothes my Soul

She gives off a since of Care

    And for whatever the reason

I want to give her my Trust

    Maybe I’m moving too fast

    Maybe I should slow down

To the pace of a dance

    To heck with that

I want to look her straight in the eyes

    Straight into her soul

    And gently

    Passionately

Give her an aggressive soft kiss

I want to feel her lips upon mine

I want there to be a deep connection

Felt between us at that very moment

For if such a thing ever happened

    I’d know I was Dreaming

    When reality hits the Heart

    I must remember

    To know my place

    And right now

    That’s not in her Heart

    So ill pray hard

Make a wish upon a star

    Cross my fingers

And hope for the very best

    But in my Dreams

    She feels the same way

    So

    I dare venture

    To Dream land

    In search of her

    Until I find her Love

    And my Heart reaches hers

    So indeed…Sweet Dreams

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
