Thank You

Thank You

Thank You
For all that is
Thank You
For all that was...

Thank You
For the icy tree that shines
And sparkles like a diamond
Thank You
For the gift of speech
And the poets who are rhyming
Thank You
For the green of leaves
That emerge with perfect timing
Thank You
For the mountain tops
That inspire desire for climbing
Thank You
For the dew drops
Breakfast for the Earth
Thank You
For conception,
Transformation and for birth
Thank You
For the words
All the nouns and all the verbs
Thank You
For the tree-folk
All the squirrels and all the birds
Thank You
For the Love I feel
At any given time
Thank You
For every single meal
His and yours and mine
Thank You
For the lessons revealed
When lives are intertwined

Thank You for All That Is
Thank You for All That Was
Thank You for All You Do
Thank You for All That's Done
Sweet Mystery
Sweet Mystery
You summon me
And All that Be
So...

Thank You
For the turtle
Living at his pace
Thank You
For the little lines
Appearing on my face
Thank You
For the breeze that blows
Rustling the daisies
Thank You
For the State of Grace
Everlong amazing
Thank You
For the smooth spots
When the road is rocky rough
Thank You
For chocolate ice cream
And marshmallow fluff
Thank You
For dissolving
My need to be tough
Thank You
For showing me
That there is always enough
Thank You
For the Ocean
And all its many creatures
Thank You
For my face
And all of its features
Thank You
For the wisdom
Passed along by great teachers
Thank You
For strawberries,
Bananas, apples and peaches
Thank You
For the moon that glows
Bathing Earth in pearly light
Thank You
For the stars that show
Through velvet dark of night

Thank You for All That Is
Thank You for All That Was
Thank You for All You Do
Thank You for All That's Done
Sweet Mystery
Sweet Mystery
You summon me
And All that Be.....

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
