Thank You

I want to say thank you
From the bottom of my heart.
Why you may very well ask?
Here's a few reasons to start:

You make me laugh,
You make me smile;
You make me giggle,
Lord knows it's been awhile.

To know there's someone
Who really does care,
Wanting to hold me tight
And always be there;

Makes me feel like a kid again
In so many wonderful ways.
My dreams are sweeter now,
And I look forward to the days.

I feel warm and loved
Way deep down inside.
A feeling I've never had
And one I don't want to hide.

The time will come
One day we'll see,
When there's nothing else
Only you and me.

So frome the bottom of my heart,
Those are only a very few
Of the many reasons why
I really must say thank you.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
