    THANKS-GIVING
    A turky......
    A bird......
    A ham...
    Some thing from a can........

    Food for thought....
    Words from the heart (soul)!
    Another life bought......
    Winter takes it's toll.......

    Cold lifeless and tired......
    Warmth rushes in from love......
    A kiss from heaven above....
    A prayer answerd as God desires......

    Another faceless person touched by God....
    More then one life changed that day.....
    A whole house rejoicing......
    And Jesus paved the way.........

    Not having any-thing at all.............
    The homeless persons' life wasn't ment to die this fall......
    So they ate Thanks-Giving dinner........
    As the snow started falling!
    Remember it is winter.....

    Bundled up cold right out-side.....
    They are just human......
    Flesh and bones.....
    Are we that full of pride.......

    May be a shelter.....
    A meal at best......
    A church and alter......
    Lord is this a test....

    Will we fear......
    Or walk......
    Pass by the person with that tear.......
    And let the police use their chalk!

    To mark another body.....
    Ready for the grave......
    Jesus let us see......
    How much more we can behave....

    As childern of God we are suppose to be.....
    The mighty Father You are....
    Why do we refuse to see.....
    The brightest and shinning star.....?

    I believe it is cranberries that are in the can, lol. A nice holiday poem my friend and a turku or is it a turkey for the main meal smile *typo*. Hope you have happy holidays. Olan.

    Red Good to here from You.I get nervous when I joke around.Take a painting Red and put it on a wall.Then take 5 people and let them view the drawing.Then stick each One in a separate room and have Them decribe it.The description is never the same,never wrong,and it's the same old picture,lol!

    Red, this is touching, I like all of it. and I know what you mean. That's why me , and Madelynn, created the Poets of Blood Group, to create books to sell, to feed the homeless.
