    The Aftermath

     Entered into quiet, little circles
    on this cloud
    I sit behind
    a reason

    Yet, although
    it comes to pass
    Seeking something
    That does last
    A shining star
    above this ocean-filled desire

    Calling into
    many caves
    Little candles
    Saving only little lights

    Beyond these tears
    I will follow
    Narrow paths
    That lead to ever-winding
    nowhere.

    I like this still pool of refraction. I can sit and sip and reflect on precious little moments from the past, wander yet again down dusty lanes of memory.
