    The American Flag

The American flag is a symbol of our pride. Through many years it has flown right by our side.

When our country has experienced a terrible loss. Our flag of our freedom and the lives that we have lost.

The stars on our flag, one for every state, represent with all our confidence that we will concur all the hate.

The strips represent the colonies in our history and the struggles that began our freedom and our plan.

Our flag has flown in sorrow when many lives were sleighed. Our flag it now reminds us of the part that our bold have played.

To some it is just some colors placed upon a cloth. To an American we remember all the battles that we have fought.

The red represents all the blood that has been spilled. The white represents all the hearts that we have healed.

The blue represents the purity that is found in the actions we have taken to lift all others off the ground.

As Americans we will stand and as Americans we will always defend our land.
With our flag flown high, we will show our enemies that our freedom will never die.

The American flag is a symbol of our pride, through many years it has flown right by our side.

I love poems that bring healthy pride of the sacred red, white, and blue.-I think the dedication you have wrote is perfect to represent the angels who defend our great country each day.Where I live there is a station on TV that shows the pictures and names of the recent American casualties of war,and I always think to myself-how I need to write a piece to honor the fallen soldiers and the soldiers who still remain away from home. I can only hope to do as honorable of a write as you have here.Great job.

I thank you for your comment, I am an Army Veteran. I Thank the soldiers every day for my freedom. The lives that were lost so I can raise my boys in a free country. I am glad that there are those of you out there who understand the sacrifice our brothers and sisters have made and continue to make. But, I am sure I can speak for the rest of them when I say it is because of people such as you that those sacrifices are made for. You make our country home as do we. Again thank you for your comment.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
