    The Art of Love

                Remember when...
                         we would swelter and sway-
                And- we would bounce back
                                for more everyday...
                I would walk on air,
knowing it was me that you desired..
The one- that you simply craved-
The one- that you set on fire-
                All I could do..
                         was smile at the anticipation..
                Then fall fast asleep after
                         all of our perspiration-
                We would take our time..
                         and fall into our own..
                Forgetting all that surrounded us-
                         when we were alone..
                Sometimes..I'd feel you before
                          you could even touch me...
                Making my river run aflow-
                          setting my inner bliss free..
                You would take me down-
                         our hearts bound..
                Turning all inhibitions around-
We found melody in our love
                         as our bodies and souls
                                 intertwined above...

" Making my river run aflow setting my inner bliss free.." The beauty in this line is its subtle erotic pulse. This poem is fulfills its promise.

The beauty of this, is you leave everything to the imagination, and the message is still breathtakingly clear. 10 from me.

very romantic and reminiscent of a love we've all had, at one time or another... beautifully written!

you paint a graceful and classy picture of erotica...subdued lust..great work

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
