    The Awakening

I have slept for eons watching this world from my dreams

    I sleep undisturbed

I exist only in my thoughts

I drift from dream to dream

Forever trapped in this prison I built

I have grown tired of being the last of our kind

    I found this place

    I sealed the entrance

    I dream of you

One day you shall rise and we shall begin

I seen you come to life

I seen the hope you bring

    I seen how we meet

    I seen our journey

Your thoughts are so loud now YOUR ALIVE!!

    I shall see you soon

I can feel the power of your mind

I sense the fear of the unknown

As I break the bonds the earth surrounded me in my prison crumbles

My wings unfold as if I flew the day before

My breath is as hot as midsummer sun

My mind is searching for you

I TAKE FLIGHT IN SEARCH OF YOU

Like a release from a prison and a hope fulfilled. The birth of a new time and riding the vibe of telepathy in a way. Kewl write.....made me think.....Write on............Tlady

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
