    Poem Commentary

I tried making this seem like a short story/ story poem, hopefully you all like it.

    The Beautiful Girl

I see her staring at me in the bar.
I walk towards her as she slowly looks away,
I greet my pressence to her seeing her eyes glow like the light of heaven.
As I heard her beautiful voice, I asked her out.
She told me yes, as we made out, we slowly walked to her apartment door.
Her eyes looked as if they came from the ocean itself, her smile came from a heavenly angel, her hair came from the clouds we see among us everyday. Her skin felt like it came from a place known as Heaven,
I felt this body on me,
    making something truly beautiful.
As I awoke the next day I saw her next to me awake, I thought to myself is this a dream,
she laid to me pregnant with our child.
She whispered to me this is not a dream, my wonderful husband.
I never knew till then what I have is a beautiful girl as my wife.

The imagery was very nicely done. It was a very sweet, beautiful poem. Good job.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
