    THE BECKONNING

What is this force that beckons, oh how I pine for thee,   Have ne'er I felt such pain before, as a heart so unfree.     I  feel this ravaging pang, in the pit of my soul,                   Who shall take this half man, and turn him into whole?      A lady fair doth wait for me, be it near or distant shore,    My journey not complete, till I rest with her forever more. I shall climb every mountain, sail each ocean wide,              Walk an endless land, till my love stands by my side.           My Love is near I feel it, a thousand stones an inch you see, One more mountain one more sea, shall bring my Love to me. I shall not fail no ancient curse, can stop a man in love, The fiercest dragon known, shall fly as a dove!

Yes, I seen your username beetle and it beckoned to me and I came here to read and I am glad I did. Yes, I too have witnessed mounds of stones and definitely I was presently surprised. Gosh your words surely spur my brain juices.

I think this is really nice...Great wording. I think you write from the heart...That is where all the great poets writings have came from, their hearts...Wheather it be hurt, pain, greif, love laughter, or just dreams of something that have yet to surface...it is great...keep up the good work...

Sorry I preferred not to rate, clicked wrong, engaged fingers before brain.
