    The best things in life

     The best things in life are for free,
    Like sound of wind gushing through trees;
    Feel the raindrops touch your face
    And fragrance of the wet earth after so many days.
    Sight of the fog on a chilly morn,
    Feels as if a new self in me is born.

    The soft caring touch of a loving hand,
    A jolly conversation with a friend you had.
    A sudden win after many a setbacks,
    Fills your life with the joy it lacks.
    And after a hard days work, a cozy sleep.
    Aren't the best things in life just for free??

    great this opem is great...very free and kind and warming...its a nice feeling i get when i read ur poetry, especially this one its very descripitive and reminds me of how important the free things in life are....kudos this was a fantastic job!!!!
