The Blame
I didn’t know what to do
When I was marched into
The hallway of the school house
Trying to be quiet as a mouse
I was told if the principle
Came by I would get busted
Crying and hurting
Totally disgusted
I was playing with
My friend Harold Smith
Teacher said I hurt him
Harold and I knew that was a myth
Here I was getting blamed
For something I didn’t do
Losing track of my mind
Getting blamed I am who
Now wondering why in this
Life people are so cruel
Guess they’ve never heard
Of the GOLDEN RULE
