    The Blare of the Band
    Launch us off
    into the Star Spangled Banner.
    Loudly, we play,
    in such a nice manner.
    Deep and full,
    a rich, thick sound,
    Louder! Loudest!
    Loudloudloud!
    Then we move
    to the fight song,
    it's not too short,
    and not too terribly long.
    The stands erupt
    positively a mess.
    But 'wait!' we say,
    'Let us finish the rest!'
    Into the pep tunes
    we will go,
    playing familiar songs,
    stuff you know.
    "Big Red," "Iron Man," "Mortal Combat"
    Let us see,
    if you can top that!
    The football game
    soon will be done,
    but alas, I assure you,
    the band had fun!

    thanks, but this is one of my worse ones! i would hope that a first timer on my poetry would read something a bit real-er than this, if that makes sense. whenever you get a chance, i suggest January Air or Sunday Morning, but you dont have to if you dont really wanna.
