The Chatroom Blues
This I wrote to be funny while all alone in the chatroom.
I'm all alone
with no one to talk to.
I say hello
and everyone leaves.
It is a sad state I'm in
being all alone right now.
I am hurting within
because no one wants to be my friend.
I look at the blank screen
and see only my name here.
The chatroom has emptied
and I'm all alone again.
Someone finally comes
and I say hello
but it happens again.
Maybe I shouldn't say hello.
Maybe then they would stay longer
but then again no one wants to be my friend.
