    THE CLIMB

    I CLIMBED THE TREE EVERYDAY
    JUST TO BUILD MY TRUST
NOT TO FALL, NOT TO FEAR
JUST SIT UP THERE TO THINK
ONCE I GOT UP I WAS HAPPY AS
    A MINK. I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
FOR PEACE FLOWED IN THE STREAM
    OF EVERY VAIN I KEEP
HOW I WISH I COULD BE
YOUNG AGAIN TO CLIMB THE TREE
    TOO THINK

Nice poem, really enjoy the connection of the natural image to your childhood/ earlier times. I hope you make your way to the tree again.
