    The clover necklace

A clover necklace I made for thee
To let you know I am with you
    Where ever you may be
If by chance we meet again
I will know by the clovers in your hand
We drifted apart like the boats in the sea
You from the land of wee folk
Me from the land of the free
You were a coin from my pot of gold
As my gold will never loose it’s shine
We will be friends till the end of time

The endurance of friendship is sometimes measured by the simplest of things... Small mementos, little keepsakes of the heart... They always solicit those past warm feelings of another... A good write...

A great friendship write. "I will know by the clovers in your hand" *____________________________* 9

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
